CANCEL: /msg memoserv cancel nick|channel
Cancels the last memo you sent to the specified nick or channel provided it has not already been read at the time you use the command.


CHECK: /msg memoserv check nick
Checks whether the _last_ memo you sent to nick has been read or not. Note that this only work with nicks, not with channels.


DEL: This command allows you to delete memos. Options can be one of:
LAST: /msg memoserv del last
Will delete the last memo received.

ALL: /msg memoserv del all
Will delete all memos you have received.

LIST: /msg memoserv del list
Will delete the memos specified in the list. For example, /msg memoserv del 2-5 would delete memos from number 2 to number 5. You could also use /msg memoserv del 2-3, 8-9 to delete only memos 2 through 3 AND memos 8 though 9.

CHANNEL: /msg memoserv del #channel [option
Will delete the memos for the channel specified. All other options described above apply. You must have the appropriate channel access to use this command. By default you must have level 10 access on a channel to read that channels memos. This can be changed with the ChanServ LEVELS command.



INFO: Informs you of you memo info, it will list; the number of memos you have, what your LIMIT is set at, and your NOTIFY status. There are two options here:

INFO: /msg memoserv info
The items mentioned above for you given nick.

CHANNEL: /msg memoserv info #channel
Does the same as the above for a given channel. You must have the appropriate channel access to use this command. By default you must have level 10 access on a channel to read that channels memos. This can be changed with the ChanServ LEVELS command.




LIST: Lists your memos. Options can be one of:

LIST: /msg memoserv list
Will list all memos your current nickname has. New memos will be indicated as such by an "*". You can also specify which memos are to be listed by number. For example, /msg memoserv list 2-4 would only list memos from number 2 to number 4. You could also use /msg memoserv list 2-4, 7-9 to list only memos 2 through 4 AND memos 7 though 9.

NEW: /msg memoserv list new
Will list only the new memos your current nickname has.

CHANNEL: /msg memoserv list #channel
Will list all the memos for the channel specified. All other options described above apply. You must have the appropriate channel access to use this command. By default you must have level 10 access on a channel to read that channels memos. This can be changed with the ChanServ LEVELS command.



READ: This command allows you to read you memos. Options can be one of:
LAST: /msg memoserv read last

Will open any new memos you have received.

RSEND: /msg memoserv rsend nick|channel the memo you wish to send
Sends the named nick or channel a memo containing memo-text. When sending to a nickname, the recipient will receive a notice that he/she has a new memo. The target nickname/channel must be registered. Once the memo is read by its recipient, an automatic notification memo will be sent to the sender informing him/her that the memo has been read.


SEND: /msg memoserv send nick|channel the memo you wish to send
Sends the text in the area "the memo you wish to send" to the nick or channel you specified.


SET: Sets various memo options. Option can be one of:

NOTIFY: /msg memoserv set notify parameter
The parameters can be one of:

ON: /msg memoserv set notify on
You will be notified of memos when you log on, when you unset /AWAY and when they are sent to you.

LOGIN: /msg memoserv set notify logon
You will be notified of memos only when you logon or unset /AWAY.

NEW: /msg memoserv set notifynew
You will only be notified of memos when they are sent to you.

OFF: /msg memoserv set notify off
You will not receive any notification of memos.
LIMIT: /msg memoserv set limit parameter
The parameters can be one of:

USERLIMIT /msg memoserv set limit some number between 0-20
Sets the maximum number of memos you nick will be able to receive. If it is set to 0 you will not be able to receive any memos. It cannot be set any higher than 20.

CHANNELLIMIT: /msg memoserv set limit #channel|some number between 0-20
Does the same as the above for a given channel. You must have the appropriate channel access to use this command. By default you must have level 10 access on a channel to read that channels memos. This can be changed with the ChanServ LEVELS command.




STAFF: /msg memoserv staff the memo you wish to send
Sends all services staff a memo containing memo-text. Note: If you have opers on both the oper list and the admin list they will receive the memo twice. The same applies for oper's on the Root list as well as other lists.
